Our Mission
GreenBotswana Trust is a non-profit environmental organization dedicated to fostering sustainability, and climate change action in Botswana. The Trust is committed to empowering communities, especially the youth, to engage in environmental stewardship, promote sustainable development, and advocate for climate resilience through innovative programs, education, and policy influence.
Our Vision
To create a sustainable, green Botswana. A 1 million tree campaign was launched in 2024, and this is a major effort to combat the country’s forestation deficit and land degradation.

Greenbotswana Trust has been granted special participation as a stakeholder in the following organisations. The recognition allows the Trust to participate in meetings, and submit statements to the working groups.
Greenbotswana Trust participated at COP16 on Riyadh, Saudia Arabia in collaboration with UN Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD)

By partnering with like-minded organisations, we aim to promote greater national awareness and develop practical solutions to issues related to environmental sustainability and community engagement.
